I opened Wish Dry Bar in January 2021 with a specific vision. Create a space where women don't need to spend three hours getting their hair done. Where the focus stays on styling instead of lengthy chemical processes. One of the most important features that I wanted to emphasize was the attention to detail. When you sit at your station, you have access to a charging station and the internet while we serve you coffee or water. We even have a liquor license to serve wine and champagne.

Peter Wilds designed the interior. He's a Vancouver-based designer who understands how environment affects experience. The result is cream walls, gold accents, and natural light that makes you actually want to be there.

Every time I walk into Wish Dry Bar and see women sitting here getting their hair done, laughing together, and enjoying their coffee, it makes me happy. They walk away feeling great about an experience that offers a little bit of class and a little bit of fun.

From Park Royal Shopping Centre, we're a 5 minute drive west along Marine Drive. Turn right onto Bellevue Avenue and you'll find us on the right side.

From Ambleside, head east on Marine Drive for about 3 minutes. The salon is right in the heart of Bellevue Avenue's shopping district.

From Dundarave Village, drive east along Marine Drive for approximately 5 minutes. Easy parking on Bellevue Avenue and surrounding streets.

From the British Properties, take Taylor Way down to Marine Drive. Turn left and continue west for about 7 minutes until you reach Bellevue Avenue.

From Caulfeild and Horseshoe Bay, head east on Marine Drive. The drive takes about 15 minutes depending on traffic.

Cross the Lions Gate Bridge and continue on Marine Drive through North Vancouver. The drive from downtown Vancouver takes approximately 20 minutes outside of rush hour.

From the Second Narrows Bridge, head west along the Trans Canada Highway, then take the Taylor Way exit south to Marine Drive. Turn right and continue west to Bellevue Avenue. About 25 minutes total.

Street parking is free on Bellevue Avenue and surrounding streets. The area is walkable with cafes and shops nearby if you arrive early.

Park Royal Shopping Centre is 5 minutes east. The Seawall and Ambleside Beach are a short walk away. Dundarave Village with its boutique shops and restaurants is 5 minutes west.

Cypress Mountain is about 15 minutes north for those combining a salon visit with outdoor activities. The Capilano Suspension Bridge is roughly 20 minutes east via Marine Drive and Capilano Road.

We're central to everything on the North Shore while being tucked into a quieter neighbourhood setting.
